Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist whose primary duties are to produce and update product and production related documentation, and to develop and maintain the software tools that will promote efficiency in providing professional quality documents and accurate, retrievable records.

Full Time - 5-8 Shift - In-Person Only

Additional Duties:

  • Maintain documentation databases and electronic forms, implement, and recommend improvements and enhancements.
  • Technical writing of documentation (e.g., SOPs, CONOPS, test plans, testing documentation, training documentation, technical solution documents, product and service descriptions)
  • Supporting technical writing products as needed by the technical teams and program managers (e.g., presentations, reports, charts, visual aids)
  • Maintain compliance with Military Standards, DA, or DoD technical writing style manuals, format guides, GSA printing regulations.
  • Coordinate with technical personnel and subject matter experts to document key elements of operational functionality, including overviews, processes/workflows, requirements, etc.
  • Write, proofread and revise technical manuals, training materials, work instructions, form templates, specification sheets, and to review same for accuracy and consistency of format and content
  • Recommend changes to document formats to make them easier to use and understand.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of documents, specifications, manuals, labels, photos and other documentation requirements.
  • Revise and maintain finished goods part number system; issue new part numbers and obtain appropriate approvals
  • Create and maintain connection schematics, RF-interconnection instructions and control connections information for various matrix configurations.
  • Provide documentation support through preparation of system drawings, labels and rack diagrams as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned as well as adhere to company policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

Associates degree in business, technical or related field and/or a minimum of four years of work related experience.
Must have knowledge of typical business operations and working use of a variety of office equipment and computer software applications such as word processing and database software.
Experience working with the MS Office Suite and photo editing software are required; database development, Java and VBA programming experience is preferred.
Must be able to understand departmental operations and procedures.
Must have the ability to work on an individual basis as well as in a team environment along with a demonstrated ability to report to work as scheduled and on time.

Work requires strong organizational and planning skills along with great attention to detail.
Must have excellent written, verbal, technical, photographic, and communication skills along with the ability to interact and communicate with individuals at various levels of the organization.
